Tiana Heath is a nationally recognized industry leader, speaker, and the Senior Manager of Industry Relations at the National Apartment Association (NAA), the largest organization representing the multifamily housing industry in the United States. She brings more than fifteen years of experience in property management, leadership development, and community engagement to her work at NAA, where she builds and stewards relationships across the multifamily housing ecosystem.
Tiana serves on the Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of Kansas City (AAKC) — a seat she earned after fifteen years of learning, mentoring, and leading within an industry she loves deeply. She previously served on the Parkville, Missouri DEI Commission, where she advocated for representation and equity in civic decision-making. Her work has been featured in Units magazine, the national publication of the National Apartment Association, and on naahq.org.
A sought-after voice in multifamily housing circles, Tiana has appeared as a podcast guest on Saving with Steve and will appear as a speaker at Apartmentalize, NAA's flagship annual conference.
Before her current role, Tiana built her career from the ground floor of multifamily housing — and from a foundation far more precarious than most. She lost her mother at fourteen and her father at twenty, and at twenty years old became the legal guardian of her younger sister. She navigated food insecurity, housing insecurity, and the bone-deep uncertainty that comes from being the adult in the room before you are ready. She built a career, a reputation, a life — from those pieces, with nothing but determination, faith, and a refusal to stay down.
She lives in the DMV — the District, Maryland, Virginia area — where she is building the next chapter of her life with intention, purpose, and the hard-won wisdom of a woman who has survived everything and is only now learning what it means to live truly.
