Dr. Taijah Davis, EdD, LPC, CPCS, is a licensed professional counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor with a doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision. She has dedicated her career to supporting children, adolescents, and families in navigating complex emotional challenges. Her doctoral dissertation, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training Program (ASIST): An Evaluation of School Counselor Preparedness for Immediate Suicide Intervention (2019), reflects her commitment to advancing school-based mental health preparedness. Dr. Davis has also presented at the Georgia School Counselor Association Conference (2017).
Drawing from her clinical expertise and her love of literature, Dr. Davis brings both authenticity and heart to her middle-grade fiction. She created the Evermere series to help young readers explore the challenges of anxiety, self-doubt, and resilience through an imaginative, fantasy lens. Alongside this series, she is developing the Lantern series, - standalone children’s books addressing topics such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, and oppositional defiant disorder, as well as companion guides for parents and educators.
