I’m Thalia Elie, a multi-hyphenate Afro-Latina artist whose creative journey spans fashion, photography, tech, and ministry. I’ve styled curls in one of Philadelphia’s top salons, sewn gowns for Macy’s runways, exhibited work in Times Square as well as the Louvre, and architected the cloud through tech, but the most sacred space I’ve ever entered is our imagination. Hair We Go is my debut novel—and my love letter to every child who’s been told their coils are too wild, their story too much. I say : their stories are spectacular and their coils - sacred.
