I’m Tennile Harris, a twenty-four-year-old storyteller on a mission to put Black joy, vulnerability, and unapologetic love at the center of the page. As a first-generation graduate student with a bachelor’s degree in business, I love blending my entrepreneurial drive with my passion for creative writing. My ultimate goal is simple: to craft rich, contemporary romances where people of color and Black women in particular are loved out loud and proudly. I believe we as black women deserve to see ourselves winning, healing, and being swept off our feet

My debut novel, Seams Ripped Open, is a labor of love that reflects that exact vision. It follows a female lead of color on a messy, beautiful journey of self-discovery, healing, and finding a love that honors her entirely.
