Syreeta Martin is an award-winning journalist, scriptwriter, and social impact creator whose work centers on empathy, empowerment, and cultural storytelling. Formerly the host of Save Space with Sincerely Syreeta on WURD Radio, she is known for her authentic voice and ability to tackle complex topics with grace.
Recognized by Femme & Fortune Magazine as one of Philadelphia’s “30 Under 30” most inspiring women, Syreeta has contributed to national publications such as EBONY.com, as well as local and regional media outlets including PhillyVoice, The Philadelphia Citizen, and Good Day Philadelphia on Fox 29. Her work has earned her accolades such as “Freelance Journalist of the Year” from the Pen & Pencil Club, one of the nation’s oldest press clubs.
Beyond journalism, Syreeta has written scripts for both Fox and Nickelodeon YouTube shows, one of which was award-winning. She also served as a playwright for the screenplay Voices of Domestic Violence, starring Sheryl Lee Ralph and Keke Wyatt. Her work extends to speechwriting, having penned speeches for the president of Community College of Philadelphia and her own, which was delivered at a Democratic presidential rally for the Biden/Harris campaign and featured former President Barack Obama.
Syreeta’s commitment to social responsibility is evident in her community engagement. She has provided life coaching and skills development curriculum to youth in schools and organizations across the tri-state region, including YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School, Benjamin Franklin High School, Chester Community Charter School, Philadelphia OIC Workforce Academy, and Energy Coordinating Agency.
A Pittsburgh native, Syreeta holds a B.A. in Journalism from Temple University and a certification in Life Coaching from Community College of Philadelphia. She is the founder and CEO of Sincerely Syreeta & Co., LLC, a media production and communications company.
