Born three months premature, I overcame early speech and reading delays to become a storyteller. My writing stems from that resilience and a desire to portray underrepresented trauma, neurodivergence, and severe mental illness with accuracy and hope. Like my protagonist Eve in my debut The Bluebird’s Keeper, I live with Harm and Responsibility OCD.
Professionally, I serve as an Art Director in the health space for multi-million-dollar brands and have founded Set Apart Company (www.setapartcompany.com). I’ve taught over 8,000 students globally and mentored people navigating mental health challenges, disability, and neurodivergence. Featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC, and MSN.
