R.E. Elanora grew up in Dallas, Texas, where faith and family became the cornerstone of her identity. From a young age, she found her voice in poetry, publishing her first piece at just fourteen. That early love of words would one day become her lifeline.
Before turning to memoir, R.E. Elanora dedicated her career to service. She spent years advocating for underserved communities, first as a nonprofit leader and later as a school administrator, always centering her work on equity and opportunity. Today, she teaches elementary students in a rural community, where she continues to blend her passions for education, advocacy, and storytelling.
72 Hours, her debut memoir, tells the true story of a mother’s fight for her children, her freedom, and her faith. It is a testimony of survival through injustice, the breaking and rebuilding of identity, and the unrelenting strength of a woman determined to rise.
