Over the course of her 35-year publishing career, Linda has represented New York Times bestselling and award-winning authors, such as Stacey Abrams, Martha Beck, Jane Fonda, and Wes Moore, and served as an editor and publishing executive, launching new businesses. After learning the ropes at the David Black Agency, Linda founded The Loewenthal Company in 2015 to fulfill her mission to nurture and advocate for authors whose goals are to make a difference in peoples liveswhether to shift a perspective, offer practical advice, or ignite the imagination. The Loewenthal Company provides editorial guidance and strategic support for authors as they develop their ideas, grow their readerships, and fruitfully navigate the business of book publishing and media. Linda aims to provide close, personalized attention, giving authors a context to create and a trusted adviser to guide them in all areas of their careers. At Random House Inc., Linda was the Vice President and Editorial Director of Harmony Books at the Crown Publishing Group. There she oversaw the successful launch of the trade paperback imprint, Three Rivers Press, for which she was also Editorial Director. She published such best-selling authors as Douglas Adams, Deepak Chopra, Stephen Jay Gould, and Byron Katie. Linda was also the Vice President and Director of the Quality Paperback Book Club at Book of the Month Club, Inc. She also created and launched the One Spirit Book Club, recipient of Time-Warners Presidents Award.
