Georgia represents a broad range of nonfiction and select fiction, primarily in the adult space, and has worked with many critically acclaimed, bestselling, and award-winning authors.
She is drawn to serious nonfiction that explores big ideas of enduring consequence and funny or irreverent writing that meticulously investigates the nuances of human life. She has a keen interest in literary memoir and essay collections as well as authors with expertise writing history, current affairs, science, sociology, cultural criticism, business, and tech books. She is deeply interested in pop culture, humor, and fashion, as well as some lifestyle, parenting, faith, and prescriptive nonfiction that empowers us to live well. She is also looking for literary, upmarket, and genre-bending fiction as well as works in translation.
Before joining UTA, Georgia was an editor for nearly a decade, most recently at Viking Books, Penguin Random House. A first-generation Nigerian-American and a native of Omaha, Nebraska, Georgia serves on the readers committee for the Young Lions Fiction Award. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and their three children.
