I’m Miki Starr, a multi-genre author whose work spans contemporary fiction, literary drama, and speculative fantasy. Across eleven published novels, I’ve explored themes of identity, inheritance, grief, transformation, and the emotional complexities of family and survival.

My most ambitious work to date is The Goldenborn Trilogy, a culturally rooted speculative saga centered on spiritual warfare, prophecy, and generational power across distant planets. The series blends immersive worldbuilding with emotionally grounded storytelling and has become the centerpiece of a larger interconnected creative universe that also includes original music and cinematic audio storytelling.

Though my stories vary in genre, they are consistently driven by strong voice, layered character dynamics, and an interest in how people navigate truth, legacy, and belonging. I currently live in the Midwest with my husband Devon, a composer and creative collaborator.
