I am Dr. Marva Jean Tutt — educator, human resources leader, nonprofit founder, speaker, writer, and woman reclaiming her voice one assignment at a time.

For more than 25 years, I have served in education as a teacher, school leader, district leader, and now as an Elementary Human Resources Coordinator. My work has always been rooted in people — helping educators grow, supporting school communities, building pathways, and creating spaces where children and adults can be seen, heard, and developed.

I am the Founder and Executive Director of Learning Futures Collective, Inc., a nonprofit committed to closing opportunity gaps by recognizing children’s brilliance early, especially among Black and Brown children. Through this work, I advocate for early gifted education, literacy, culturally responsive learning, and community-centered solutions.

I am also the creator of Reclaiming My Voice, a platform and podcast dedicated to women’s stories, healing, leadership, faith, identity, and truth-telling. I believe every woman has a voice, a story, and a purpose — and none of us were meant to stay silent.

My work is deeply connected to leadership, restoration, equity, Black women’s experiences, education, and the power of choosing yourself without abandoning your assignment.

My guiding belief is simple:

Liberation is not authenticity without strategy; it is choice.

I am here to build, restore, teach, tell the truth, and help others remember that their voice still matters.
