Marissa Nelson is an award-winning Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and Certified Sexuality Educator with over a decade of experience helping individuals and couples transform their relationships and emotional well-being. Known for her expertise in intimacy, mental health, and trauma, Marissa has worked with Fortune 500 executives, global industry leaders, and trauma survivors to unlock their potential and overcome challenges that impact their personal and professional lives.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a Minor in Communications from Florida State University and a Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy from Drexel University, where she received the Department of Family Therapy Service Award. Her post-graduate studies include a Certificate in Sexual Health & Sex Therapy from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Education Entrepreneurship from The University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Wharton VIP-C Fellow, a Johns Hopkins University & Medicine Ward Infinity Fellow, and a Wharton Women’s Business Circle Facilitator.

She also holds a certificate in Divorce Mediation & Conflict Resolution.
