La Toya T. Haynes is an organizational development expert, executive coach, and consultant. With more than 25+ years of experience, La Toya Haynes formerly worked for Fortune 500 organizations and mid-size corporations including General Motors, Tyco International’s Kendall Healthcare, Procter&Gamble, Ericsson, Tupperware Brand’s BeautiControl, Intuit, and Robert Smith’s Private Equity Firm, Vista Equity Partners. As a strategic business partner throughout her career, she has led transformational change management, organizational redesigns, and merger and acquisition integration efforts. In her senior leadership roles, she has led all aspects of human resources.
She holds both a Master’s degree in Organizational Development & Executive Coaching and a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching from the University of Texas, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Southern University and A&M College, and a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in HR from Cornell University. She is certified in Insights Discovery and the SHAPE Career Assessment. La Toya currently holds Advisory Board positions with Boardswell and Boss Women Media.
La Toya believes that playing small does not serve the world and is currently the Founder and CEO of The Talent Practice, an HR Consulting and Professional Development company. You can find her as a featured guest on several podcasts and as a speaker for professional development conferences and events.
Her love of storytelling is on full display in her first published book entitled Bittersweet. Readers are taken on a journey through the eyes of a driven professional woman who has the career of her dreams and is now looking for the man to go along with them.
