I hold a BA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where I was closely mentored by literary fiction author Megan Giddings, and earned an Editing and Publishing certificate under KT literary agent Savannah Brooks. My short stories appear in FIYAH Literary Magazine, Inner Worlds, Crow and Cross Keys, Devotion in the Open Air Anthology by InkedInGray Press, and Speculative Issue #4 Anthology by Midnight and Indigo. My work was recognized on the 2024 Otherwise Award Honors List, as well as featured in Locus Magazine and Reactor Magazine. I was mentored by contemporary author Julian Winters for We Need Diverse Books: Black Creatives Revision Workshop 2024 and won Minnesota’s Creative Individuals $10k Grant.
