As the CEO and Founder of Cultivating Healers, Kenya is on a mission to change the field of mental health by increasing the support, knowledge, and community amongst healers seeking to build anti-racist and sustainable practices. Kenya seeks to meet this goal with three main pillars: education, support, and rest. Since becoming an accredited Continuing Education Provider with Cultivating Healers in 2023, her company has trained over 2,000 therapists. To date, she has launched over 23 live courses and 5 on-demand courses aimed at training healers to incorporate inclusivity and sustainability into their practice. Starting in 2022, Cultivating Healers began to host support groups for healers of color. This service has now transitioned into an online community membership. In addition to these support groups, we hosted our very first retreat in LA in 2024 and will be hosting our next retreat in NYC in the fall of 2025. Kenya has been accepted into the Goldman Sachs One-Million Black Women in Business, Black Girls Ventures Fellowship and the Chase Business Marketing Program. She can be caught at her local Black-owned bookstore reading or daydreaming about what’s possible without limitations.
