asmine Turner is a writer, storyteller, and communications strategist whose work explores ancestry, spirituality, and identity through the lens of Black womanhood. A Hearst Award–winning journalist and graduate of Howard University, she has spent over a decade in public relations and strategic communications, leading major campaigns and media training initiatives across corporate and government sectors.
Jasmine is also the voice behind Dreams of Jasmine, a creative platform that has drawn millions of page visits to her blog and millions of views across TikTok, where her reflections on ancestry, culture, and personal growth have reached a wide and engaged audience. Her ability to move fluidly between corporate boardrooms and creative communities underscores her rare capacity to translate complex ideas into stories that resonate.
Her essays focus on the unseen labor of matriarchs, the inheritance of spiritual and emotional lineage, and the sacred wisdom embedded in everyday life. She has participated in residencies and workshops, including Rosemary’s House and a 2025 writing residency in Greece, where her work was nationally and internationally workshopped to powerful reception.
Jasmine is currently developing her debut book, Mother, Daughter, Holy Spirit, a lyrical meditation on matrilineal inheritance and the pathways to healing, sovereignty, and belonging.
