I'm Danielle Holmes (Danii). MSN, RN, CCRN, NI, BC. I'm a Nurse Professional Development Practice Leader at a level one trauma center, where I support new hire RN orientation across acute care units. I'm also an incoming NSF SHINE Fellow and PhD student at UMass Amherst's Elaine Marieb College of Nursing (Fall 2026), focusing on NLP, EHR equity, and algorithmic bias in clinical AI.

I've spent nine years in nursing at Level 1 trauma centers and ICUs. I know what it's like to take care of people at their most vulnerable. I've documented domestic violence injuries on other women. I never thought I'd be the one in those photos.
