I currently reside in Arlington, VA with my husband and lab-mix dog, Buffy. I have my Bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism and my Master’s degree in investigative journalism. I write from the perspective of a plus-sized Black woman who has lived in the average American suburb. My goal as an author is for more people to see Black stories with happily ever afters and see more plus-sized main characters.
