Dr. Renee Matthews is a physician-turned-media personality, health educator, and founder of Ask Dr. Renee, a multi-platform health education brand focused on allergy and asthma awareness through a health equity lens. She hosts The Ask Dr. Renee Show, streaming on VONTV via Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV, where she brings expert guests and everyday families together to talk candidly about the conditions that keep so many parents up at night. The show builds on a media career that includes her earlier program, Out of Office with Dr. Renee, a 2024 Telly Award winner that aired in more than 45,000 doctors' office waiting rooms across the country.
Beyond her media platform, Dr. Renee leads the African American Wellness Project as fiscal sponsor and is connected to PEDS Urgent Care Detroit through a partnership capacity, extending her health equity work into direct community care and school-linked pediatric respiratory health initiatives. She is the author of No, Renee You Are Allergic!, a children's book that introduces food allergy awareness to young readers.

As a first-generation Antiguan American, she weaves her Caribbean heritage authentically throughout her brand voice and content. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Pi Tau Omega Chapter) and a lifetime Girl Scout, both communities that reinforce her lifelong commitment to service and mentorship.
