I am a professor and Black feminist scholar with a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration, an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida. My academic writing centers on illuminating the experiences of Black women in higher education, but The Book that Got Robbed represents a personal and creative shift toward children’s literature. As an educator, foster parent, and storyteller, I am passionate about inspiring young minds through imaginative, inclusive narratives.
