Dhayana Alejandrina is a poet, writing mentor, and author of Agridulce: Poetry and Prose. Born in Santo Domingo, she began writing at nine and continued after immigrating to the U.S. in 2009. Her work explores life’s duality—its sweetness and struggles—through themes of identity, culture, healing, and self-discovery.

Her writing has been featured in LA Times, Al Día Newspaper, WeAllGrow Latina, and Penguin Publishing. A passionate community builder, she creates spaces for storytelling, healing, and creative expression. In 2024, she founded The Creative Writing Hour, a global community dedicated to inspiring and supporting writers at all levels.
