I am a very experienced and highly dedicated cat mom. I am currently the human mama to four amazing cats, including two senior kitties above the age of 18, and two younger adult kitties. I have lived with cats for most of my adult life and for much of my childhood as well. In 2021 I started working as a volunteer with a cat rescue organization, which enabled me to expand my knowledge and experience as well as open my heart to a whole other category of cats - feral, semi-feral, and abandoned or abused animals who needed care and safety. Professionally, I am an experienced communicator. Creating messaging to help make things clear and helpful to others has been a continuous thread throughout my educational history as well as my work career. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in English {literature}, I went on to earn my Master’s in Technical and Scientific Communication from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. The ability to write and edit has been a key factor in my career success over nearly four decades of employment, mostly in very large corporate organizations including Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, and General Electric.
