April Thompson is a Colorado native, a single mom of 3 teens, faithful believer in Jesus, and avid lover of nature, sunsets, waterfalls, and butterflies. She has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University, CA and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with primary focus of children teen girls, parenting issues, and women. She manages her own private practice in the Denver metro area. She is working on her first adult memoir/ wellness development book and has written several children's picture books.
