As founder of LaVant Consulting Inc., she helps leaders “speak disability with confidence,” partnering with brands like Google, Netflix, and the Oscars. Known for her candor, warmth, and strategic insight, she gained global recognition as Impact Producer for Netflix’s Oscar-nominated Crip Camp, contributed to the anthology Wake Up America, and in 2021 made history as the first visibly disabled Black woman on the Oscars red carpet.
