Ama is a Black feminist writer from Washington, D.C. who believes that pleasure, be it sexual or otherwise, and politics are a crucial part of the human experience. She writes about everyday people navigating life while exploring the things, people, and places that bring them joy. All that to say that her stories are timely, raw, and unapologetically smutty!
Additionally, Ama is a storyteller and aspiring ethnographer with a special focus on Black girls, women, and femmes. She explores themes of identity, eroticism, and politics in her upcoming project, They Called Us Fast, and in her non-fiction writing, which has been published in girlswriteshit and The South.
