I'm a Taiwanese immigrant with an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and serve on the executive board of Calliope Writing Coach. I'm a writer-in-residence at Château d’Orquevaux in France. I’m a permanent staff at Writing Away Refuge and a former committee member of Storymakers Conference. My bylines appear in the New York Times and HuffPost. My memoir, "Ninety-Nine Fire Hoops" (2021, She Writes Press), won the Grand Prize in the 2022 Shelf Unbound Indie Book Awards, among others. I’m a frequent conference keynote speaker and presenter. I also appeared on TV, radio, and podcasts; in newspapers, magazines, and journals.
