Captain Nia Gilliam is an airline pilot with more than twenty-five years of experience and a co-founder of Sisters of the Skies, a nonprofit working to increase the number of Black women pilots. A Chicago native now based in Houston, she is also a breast cancer survivor, advocate for representation in aviation, and mother of two.
